Biking is no longer an all-male pastime. With the New Age of Reason, we are now doing away with old notions that certain activities are limited to a certain definite gender. In the past, fishing and turkey shoots were limited to men. Ladies, on the other hand, concentrated on embroideries and pillow-making. Unless one is as brilliant as Annie Oakley, the ladies then were prohibited from holding guns or playing with guns. Parents always desired that their daughters grow up to be proper ladies and not huntresses. When the new industrial items like bikes were first introduced, the same traditional notions reemerged. The so-called community leaders considered it was scandalous for girls in their skirts to be riding bicycles. They claimed that girls who ride bikes have loose morals and that the girls disregard conventional societal norms. Education and literacy programs of the state and private institutions have brought an end to such ridiculous thoughts. Nowadays, people can buy girls beach bikes on the internet. The ladies can even choose from a wide variety of bikes.

Moreover, numerous internet sites are now selling girls beach bikes. Such bikes have some feminine or girlish design on them. The manufacturers and retailers know that there remains to be a demand for girlish items like girl bikes. In the past, the manufacturers would have been stormed by the mob for selling something scandalous. However, we have learned a lot and we have escaped from such ridiculous nonsense theories. Now, we allow ladies and girls to ride bikes whether they are wearing skirts or pants.
